Having been in the industry for many years, we are often approached by long standing retailers for advice and information as to how to proceed with new concepts.

Here is a little of our advice and we hope that it helps:

1) Designers and Architects are qualified to detail projects properly. As such, we don’t design in house. They do what they do best and we do what we do best. We build your amazing projects to the design intent, no corner cutting.

2) Why should you engage a designer directly? You own the plans that they produce for you. Their job is to make sure that you receive detailed plans of the project and joinery. They are best equipped to select finishes fit for purpose as per your agreed brief and intent, noting that they are continually updated on the latest trends, options and availabilities.

3) Why to steer away from the “all in one package”?  in our experience, you will not receive plans with appropriate levels of detail which in many cases results in you not receiving the quality fit out or desired intent that is right for your brand.

So, our advice is to keep them both separate.
